Keeping Torah

                                                  by Barry W. Gaugler

Is the keeping of Torah important to our Creator? Consider what is written in Jeremiah 31:31-33:

"Behold the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was a husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God and they shall be my people." (KJV)

Notice in the above passage that the Spirit is speaking directly to the house of Israel, and to the house of Judah. He is declaring a new covenant with His people. Some try to say, that this is speaking allegorically about the church, and not Israel. That is twisting scripture, as the language is perfectly clear, to whom Elohim is addressing. The New Covenant spoken of here, is with Israel and Judah. Yes. I know, that it is also given for the Goyim who claim the promises, by being grafted into Israel. Notice also where Elohim is writing His instructions (Torah). It is to be written in their hearts. We need to ask ourselves this question. If we are not to observe Torah, why would the Spirit write Torah upon our hearts? I believe, it is because, our love for Yeshua, is to be so great, that the thought of breaking His commandments would be absolutely repulsive to those who love and trust in him.

It is important to understand this important fact. It is by our Father's grace, that we are able to live Torah, through the working of Ruach haKodesh in our inner being. It is the Ruach, imparting to us the life of Yeshua haMashiach. It is not something we can work to achieve of our own volition, strength, or human nature. It is only achieved through surrendering your life completely to Yeshua.

Many are afraid, that by surrendering to Yeshua, their life will be over, and that they will never be able to enjoy life again. Nothing could be further from the truth. Life in Messiah is full and rich. Those who follow after their own ways, or the ways of this world live empty lives. They are always searching for some pleasure that will remain for more than a few hours, but they can never seem to find it. Their joy is shallow, and soon fades. I often hear their words, and have even said them myself in the past, "Is this all there is to life?" Their motto is "Life stinks, and then you die." Those who do not know Yeshua as their savior are constantly looking for something. Their lives are always miserable and empty. They may deny it to your face, but in their heart of hearts, they know it's true. When they place their heads on their pillow at night, and are alone with their thoughts, they know. There is no escape from the reality that you feel alone and empty.

It doesn't matter how many so called friends they have, or how much stuff they have gathered, or how much they travel around the world. They feel empty. They are searching for something, and they can never seem to find satisfaction. The reason, is because, they are searching in all the wrong places. Lives that are apart from Yeshua, are always filled with oppression. Have you ever noticed how angry their lives are without Yeshua? Always wanting to fight, or always cutting other people down? Even at their parties, fights break out. When it's all over, they end up praying to their porcelain god, asking him to just get them through another hangover. Swearing to him that they will never drink another drop (until next time). Lives that are surrendered to Messiah Yeshua however, are always full and rich, even during the hard times. Do we suffer hard times? Of course we do, but there is that blessed assurance, that in the end; We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, and are called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)

The Closer We Walk

The closer we walk with our heavenly Father, the more distance our former friends and family want between us, and them. This should not come as a surprise. Yeshua spoke of this often. In Matthew 10: 21 & 22, Yeshua says these words:

"Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against their parents and have them put to death. And you will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end shall be saved."

Again, in Matthew 24:9 Yeshua has this to say,
"Then they will hand you over to persecution and will kill you. You will be hated of all nations because of My name"

We have to understand something. Many people today, are sitting in churches, that do not preach the truth of the Gospel. I sat in several denominational churches, for almost half of my life, and not once, had I ever heard our Father's plan of salvation even mentioned. I was confirmed as a young teen in the Lutheran church, and had never heard the answer to the question, "What must I do to be saved?" The same was true for the Methodist church, and the Episcopal church. What I did hear was that we are saved by grace, so don't worry about keeping the commandments of God. Jesus did it all for you. It is a sad commentary, that so many people, are sitting in these dead churches for years, and they have never heard the message of salvation.

It is quite obvious from reading Matthew 7:21- 23, that many, who thought they were saved, will not make it into the kingdom of heaven. It is sad. They thought they were saved. They thought they were on the right track, but Yeshua's words are clear when He said,

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord!' will enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy in Your name, and drive out demons in Your name, and perform many miracles in Your name?' Then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you. Get away from Me, you workers of lawlessness!'"

Notice; those who do the will of the Father will enter in. What is the will of the Father? That's simple. That you "keep His commandments." Also notice; The workers of lawlessness will not enter in. John 14:21 says,

"He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. He who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him"

Has He revealed Himself to you, or do you only know about Him as some being out there in the far off sky somewhere? Ask Him, and He will become real to you, and will reveal Yeshua (Jesus) to you as a real living person.

The Meaning of Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles)

                                                          by Barry W. Gaugler

What was the purpose for our heavenly Father giving His appointed times to the children of Israel? The purpose of each and every one of Elohim's appointed times, was to be a prophet example pointing to His Messiah. They were much more than just a celebration. Elohim was showing His children important keys to knowing His plan for His children Israel, that they would know the times and the seasons. So, what is the significance of this appointed time called Sukkot, or the Feast of Tabernacles?

We know from Scripture, that the Messiah could not have been born anywhere near late December, for meteorological reasons. The Bible clearly records in Luke 2:8, that the shepherds were out in the fields watching over their sheep by night, around the time of Messiah's birth. The meteorological patterns today for this area of Judea, are known to be, just as they were around the time of the birth of Messiah. The lambs would be at risk in the cold weather, and have always been in shelter during the cold Judean nights of late December. This fact, makes it certain, that Yeshua could not have been born in late December according to Scripture.

So, if Yeshua (Jesus) was not born in December, does Scripture give us a clear indication, as to when He actually was born? Since Elohim does not change, and always works within the parameters of His appointed times. We can know according to Elohim's appointed times, the time period in which Yeshua was born. We know from Scriptures in Luke, chapter one, that the father of John the Baptist was a priest named Z'kharyah (Zacharias). He served in the temple burning incense during the course of Aviyah (1st Chronicles 24:10). He was chosen by the drawing of lots (Luke 1:9), as was the custom of the priests (See 1st Chronicles 24:5). The names of the different courses of priests that served in the temple are mentioned in 1st Chronicles 24: 1-19. Aviyah was the 8th course. Each course served in the temple for one week, with the 1st course starting in the 1st week, in month of Nisan, in the Spring (See 1st Chronicles 27:1 & 2). All priests served during Elohim's appointed feasts of Pesach (Passover), Shavuot (Pentecost), and Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles). After six months, the cycle would repeat, so each course would serve two weeks during the year.

With the above information, we can look at Scripture, and have a pretty good idea, as to when Messiah Yeshua was born. We know from Luke 1:11-20 that the angel Gabriel visited Zacharias while he was serving in the temple. We know from Scripture, that Aviyah served in the 8th course. That would have put Zacharias serving in the temple from the month of Iyar 7 to Sivan 5. That brings us right up the start of Shavuot (Pentecost) on Sivan 6. Since this is one of the three feasts in which Jewish men are required to make a pilgrimage to Jerusalem, we know that Zacharias would have remained in Jerusalem for another week. Upon returning home, his wife Elizabeth soon conceived. If we add 40 weeks, or 280 days to this time (the normal gestation period for humans) it would put the birth of John The Baptist, right at Passover. (Remember, God always works within the parameters of His appointed times. Our heavenly Father never works according to manmade times and seasons. He works according to His schedule, not ours.)

When Elizabeth became pregnant, Luke 1:24 tells us that she remained in seclusion for five months. In verse 26 Gabriel appears to Miriam (Mary) in the sixth month and tells her she is going to conceive by the Holy Spirit and give birth to a son. He will be called the Son of God. The dialog continues through verse 37, and then in verse 38, Gabriel leaves her. Then in verse 39, it says, that Miriam hurried to the hill country to visit Elizabeth. John leaped in Elizabeth's womb upon hearing Miriam's voice. From these passages, we can determine that John would be born at least six months before Yeshua. That would put Yeshua's birth, right at the first day of Sukkot (probably late September, or early October according to our calendar). Now, remember this fact. Our heavenly Father always works within the parameter of His appointed times. (I know I am being redundant about this, but please bear with me. It is very important that this fact is embedded in your mind).

Let's examine the Feast of Sukkot, or the Feast of Tabernacles, as it is more commonly known among Gentiles. I will only highlight (for the sake of brevity) those verses, or portions of verses from Leviticus 23:33-43 which are most important to understanding, but I suggest you read it for yourself from your own Bible.

vs. 33-36: "ADONAI said to Moshe, 'Tell the people of Isra'el, On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the feast of Sukkot for seven days to ADONAI. On the first day, there is to be a holy convocation; do not do any kind of ordinary work.-----on the eighth day you are to have a holy convocation;----- it is a day of public assembly; do not do any kind of work.'"

vs. 39: "But on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered the produce of the land, you are to observe the festival of ADONAI seven days; the first day is to be a complete rest and the eighth day is to be a complete rest."

vs. 41-42: "You are to observe it as a feast to ADONAI seven days in the year; it is a permanent regulation, generation after generation; keep it in the seventh month. You are to live in sukkot for seven days; every citizen of Isra'el is to live in a sukkah."

(All above verses from the Complete Jewish Bible)

Notice that Elohim says, it is a feast for seven days, but then He adds an eighth day. Why? If one has an understanding of Scripture, the answer becomes quite evident.
In Genesis 17:10-12a, Elohim says this to Avraham (Abraham);

"Here is my covenant which you are to keep, between me and you, along with your descendants after you: every male among you is to be circumcised. You are to be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin; this will be the sign of the covenant between me and you. Generation after generation, every male among you who is eight days old is to be circumcised,-----."

From the above passages, it should be quite evident why our heavenly Father, in His infinite wisdom, added an eighth day at the end of the seven day feast of Sukkot. Since Messiah was to be born on the first day, of the feast of Sukkot (a holy day), does it not make perfect sense that the eighth day, or the day of Messiah's circumcision and dedication to Elohim, would also be on a holy day? The feast of Sukkot is an obvious prophetic feast, pointing to the birth of Messiah Yeshua. Many people today understand, that Yeshua was born in a manger. There was no room at the inn, because it was during Sukkot. Look at any picture of a manger, and you will soon notice exactly what it is. It's a sukkah, or a temporary dwelling in accordance with Elohim's commandment.

John:1:14 says;
"And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. We looked upon His glory, the glory of the one and only from the Father, full of grace and truth."

An Interesting Perspective of the Bikers 2 Washington

From the Editor:  Last I heard, Barry was still answering e-mails, but he did post this by David DeFries and I am sharing it as well.

This is not my article, but it fits with my sentiments exactly, except that I do ride. He said it well. - Barry
David DeFries wrote this. Well said.

As I wrote about this event over the week leading up to it I had many supporters but also many who questioned my involvement. Some asked " Why are you going, you aren't a biker?" and others rolled their eyes and said " why difference will it make." Yes, I wasn't a biker, so I would drive my car and I don't know what difference it will make, but not knowing an outcome has never stopped me from fighting before. I haven't gone on a vacation since I was 23 ( 20 years), haven't had a weeks off in ten and have only closed my office 4 times in the last 7 years so I figured I owed it to myself to join something that meant something to me. I watched as the numbers grew each day from several thousand to ten then to forty then eighty then over one hundred thousand....100,000 people who had had enough of being made to feel like outsiders in their own country. 100,000 people who had had enough of being asked to put aside their values and beliefs and to better understand and embrace a culture that hates theirs. Over 100,000 people, who are no longer resigned to sit back and be told what they should think, feel and say but are asked to fight the wars, build the roads and pay the taxes.

This morning myself and three friends pulled our to vehicles into a McDonalds in SE Pennsylvania and met up with a few riders. We hoped on 95 and linked up with more. As we travelled down south stopping at rest areas the pack grew larger and so did my understanding of bikers. While driving along side the pack everyone was conscious of each other and slowed or sped to keep the unit together. Even the support vehicles started to develop a system to keep everyone connected. At each spot I met new people and everyone was excited and friendly.
By the time we arrived at Ft Washington I was overwhelmed by everything. There were people and bikes as far as the eye could see. We settled in behind a bar and began walking trying to find friends and along the way made dozens of new ones. I was amazed at how calm it was among thousands of people and the palpable comradery that was in the air.

For an event that was organized so quickly and of such magnitude, it was fluid and purposeful , as if it were a ballet.
After all of the bikes pulled out and the vehicles were left to chase them down, we made our way to the demonstration area and found just a dozen or so antagonist and felt somewhat deflated as the enemy did not show. Riding home I realized that this wasn't about the Muslims, it was about us Americans and understanding what 911 means now. It means we took a knife to the gut and survived. We realized we are not invincible but we are tough as nails.
I just stood in the middle of thousands of people who didn't ask what difference it would make rather they showed what difference THEY could make.
As of this writing the 2 Million Biker March has over a quarter of a million followers. That is quite an army of my peers.
Maybe I am a biker after all.
I don't feel so different after today. Thanks to everyone

What Does Your Elohim Ask?

                                                      by Barry W. Gaugler

Deuteronomy 10:12 & 13 says,

And now, Israel what does YHVH your Elohim ask of you? Other than to fear YHVH your Elohim, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve YHVH your Elohim, with all your heart, and with all your soul, to observe the commandments of YHVH, and His decrees, which I command you today, to benefit you.
Chumash Torah (My own translation)

Some may say that since we are under Grace, the commandments no longer apply to us. They were meant for the Hebrew people, but Yeshua nailed them to the cross (stake), and they no longer apply to the New Testament believers. Can that be true? When has Elohim changed His mind? We need to understand, that our sin debt was nailed to the cross. To believe that Torah was nailed to the cross is a complete misunderstanding of the context of Scripture.

We, are most certainly saved by Grace, through trusting in Yeshua. However, how do we show the world that we love our heavenly Father? We show the world that we love our heavenly Father, by keeping the very commandments, that He says benefit us.

1st John 5:3 says,

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous.

Our Heart's Desire

                                            by Barry W. Gaugler

The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God. Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be cursed thing like it: but thou shall utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.
Deuteronomy 7: 25 & 26 (KJV)

The wicked boasts of his heart's desire, and blesses the covetous, the Lord abhors.
Psalm 10:3

Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.
Psalm 73:25 & 26

Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and the remembrance of thee. With my soul I have desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
Isaiah 26:8 & 9

I often hear people quote Psalm 37: 4 without its surrounding verses. "Delight thyself in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." This is often used by prosperity teachers as a proof text, that our heavenly Father wants to overflow you with material blessings. I urge the Israel of our heavenly Father to look at these verses in the whole context of Scripture.

Delight yourself in the LORD. He, and He alone is to be our heart's desire. Our desire is not to be for the silver and gold, nor the abominations we may bring into our houses, that we may put as idols before Him. We are not to be covetous of the things of this world. He, and He alone is to be our desire. When we learn to make Him the desire of our hearts, then, and only then, will we begin to understand, what this walk is all about. It is all about Him. It is not about our covetous desires for material things.

I seek You Yeshua. There is nothing on this earth that can satisfy. Who is there in heaven but You, that I may desire. Fill me to overflowing, that I may know You, with an uncommon intimacy, that the world might know you. I ask this in Yeshua's name. Amen.

Shalom Ahlaychem,

Sharing

                                              contributed by Barry W. Gaugler

I was sharing this with a sister in Messiah, when I sensed in my spirit, that someone else needed to hear these exact words, so here goes.

I like to run these two Psalms together. It always brings me comfort in times of trouble. Psalm 60:11 & 12 and Psalm 61:1-3.

"Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for He shall tread down our enemies. Hear my cry, O God; attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me, a strong tower from the enemy." (KJV)

Living by His instructions

                                                        by Barry W. Gaugler

Thus says YHVH of hosts: "In those days ten men from the languages of the nations shall take hold of the robe of a man, a Jew, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that Elohim is with you.'"
Zachariah 8:23 (From the Hebrew)

YHVH my strength and my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of distress, to you the nations shall come from the ends of the earth, and say, Only lies have inherited our fathers, vanity, and in them is not profit.
Jeremiah 16:19 (From the Hebrew)

We are living in the very last days. The Jewish people are recognizing, and accepting Yeshua (Jesus) as their Messiah, at a record pace. Christians are seeking to know the truth, that has been hidden from them for centuries by church dogma, and doctrines which are contrary to the plain teachings found in the Scriptures. There is an awakening happening right before our eyes, that has been unparalleled in all of history. This is not the doings of men, but I believe it is the move of Ruach haKodesh (the Holy Spirit). All of a sudden, there is a hunger to understand the Scriptures from the perspective of the time, and culture, from which they were written, instead of a modern understanding, which is totally foreign to the purpose of their writing.

We must understand that the Scriptures were not written from a modern day Western perspective. They were written to an ancient Eastern culture, that has very little resemblance to the way things are understood, or done today. Until we can grasp the concepts of how these ancient cultures understood these writings, we can only guess as to what was being said. Unfortunately, most of our translations were done from a modern Western understanding. We desperately need to get back to the ancient Hebraic culture, and find out what the Scriptures meant to these people.

How do we do that? The first thing we can do, is to start at the beginning of the book. Start with Torah (The first five books of the Bible), and learn what our heavenly Father required of His people, Israel. He gave His commandments to these people to keep them Holy. In order to be Holy, the idea is for them to be "Set apart," from the rest of the peoples of the world. They are not to worship their heavenly Father after the fashion of the pagans, which Elohim was driving out of the land before them. They were not to inquire after their customs, and they were not to inquire, as to how they worshiped their idols. Are we not to also be Holy? Are we supposed to look like the world? Are we to act just like them, eat like them, talk like them, or are we supposed to be set apart from the world?

They were not to eat the unclean animals, which were common to the pagans they were driving out of the land, and were given distinct instructions as to what was considered to be food, and also, as to what animals were not to ever be considered food. These commandments were to be perpetual commandments. In other words, they were meant to stand forever. Elohim has never told a lie, and is incapable of doing so. With that in mind, it is important to understand that Elohim cannot change. Therefore, if the church, or any man's doctrine says that these commandments have changed, we need to seek our heavenly Father in prayer, and ask Him to open our eyes to the truth. Then, we are to walk in that truth. We need to examine ourselves in order to see if we are walking after the faith of Yeshua, or after the doctrines of devils, and the traditions of men.

Guard Your Words

                                                   by Barry W. Gaugler

We don't often think about our words. Sometimes, in the heat of a moment, we may say things, that are foolish, and hurtful. We may later come back and say, " I really didn't mean it," and ask for forgiveness. Have we ever given thought to the fact, that once words are spoken, they go out into eternity, and can never really be taken back? Sometimes, the words we speak come back, to bite us, at a later time in our life, and there is no turning the matter around, no matter how many tears are shed.

In Genesis 25:30 - 34 we read,

And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called E'-dom. And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright. And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? And Jacob said, swear to me this day; and he swear unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils; and he did eat and drink, and rose up and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright. (KJV)

Some may ask, "What does this have to do with me? This is just a story out of the Scriptures, and is not even remotely related to my life." Is that so? Do we not understand, that our heavenly Father is not a respecter of persons? Do we not understand, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by our words we shall be justified, and by our words we shall be condemned? (Matthew 12:36 & 37)

It is all too often, that I hear people, who profess, to having a relationship with our heavenly Father, and His Messiah, speaking with cursing, and foul language proceeding from their lips. I do not exclude myself from this. I find myself guilty, so please do not think that I am judging others. I find it to be a daily struggle. I have grown up in a rough neighborhood, served in the military, and worked with plenty of people, where it was a common occurrence.

The tongue, is most difficult to bridle. However, it is not only the cursing that brings into question our relationship with the Almighty, but our confessions, and negative conversations. The Scriptures tell us, that sweet water, and salt water cannot come from the same well. I believe the Spirit is looking for a people who will let their Yea be Yea, and their Nay be Nay. The time has come for us, who called by the name of Yeshua, to bring forth blessings, and leave the cursing to those of this world.

I pray that Ruach haKodesh (the Holy Spirit) would grant us the grace, to clean up our language. May the words that proceed from our mouths, originate from a heart that has been purified by the working of Your Spirit within our being, to the Glory of our heavenly Father, and I ask it, in the name of our Blessed Savior, Yeshua haMashiach.

Shalom Ahlaychem,

To Whom Is The Arm of YHVH Revealed?

                                                 by Barry W. Gaugler

Who has received our report? and to whom is the arm of YHVH revealed? (Isaiah 53:1)

Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of Eloha forever and ever: for wisdom and might are His: And He changes the times and the seasons: He removes kings, and sets up kings: He gives wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them, who know understanding: He reveals the deep and secret things: He knows what is in the darkness, and the Light dwells with Him.
(Daniel 2: 20 - 22)

Surely Adonai YHVH will do nothing, but He reveals His secret unto His servants the prophets. (Amos 3:7)

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you; For everyone that asks, receives; and he that seeks, finds; and to him that knocks, it shall be opened. (Matthew 7:7 &

Whomever keeps the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerns both time and judgment.
(Ecclesiastes 8:5)

For a man in his natural self does not receive spiritual concepts; for they are foolishness to him. Neither can he know them; for they are discerned by the Spirit. (1st Corinthians 2:14)

For the word of Elohim is alive and all-efficient, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and enters even to the deep penetration of of the soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and the bones, and judges the thoughts and reasonings of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

I know I have given a lot of Scriptures there, but they are foundational to the point I believe the Spirit is trying to get us to understand. Who has received our report? Who has true understanding, of what is going on in this world, right before our eyes? It is a sad commentary that many people go to church every sun day, (sic) and hear message after message, and they never really hear what is being said.

Please understand what I am saying. I believe the Eternal Father in heaven has put a calling upon my life, and His Ruach (Spirit) within me to teach His truth. I fully understand, that it is His Spirit upon me, that causes me to teach the way I teach. Money cannot buy me, or change my tone. I fully understand that I am going to be judged, by our Father in heaven, for what I say, believe, and teach. I do this with fear and trembling. I am in constant prayer against the spirit of error and deception. I take this calling very seriously. It is not a paycheck. It is my very life.

It saddens me, as I know it does our heavenly Father, that so many people are comfortable sitting in a pew once, or twice a week, and have no conviction upon their lives. What will it take to awaken the Israel of Yah out of her slumber? Prophesy is being fulfilled almost daily, and still, people refuse to heed the warnings written down in the ancient Scriptures. So many people say things like, "I'm Okay. I believe in God. I've never killed anybody" They may also say things like, "God knows my heart." I hear rubbish like this all the time, and it saddens me, as I'm positive it does Yeshua, that people could be so ignorant, of what the Almighty Father requires of us. The demons also believe in the Almighty, but they will never be saved. Yes. Our heavenly Father does indeed know your heart. What do the Scriptures say about that? Jeremiah 17:9 says; "The heart is deceitful above all, and desperately wicked: who can know it?"

Yeshua is returning very soon, for a bride that has made herself ready. Did you catch that? MADE HERSELF READY. However, many will say, "I'm saved by grace, and that is all I need." Oh! so we do not have to show the world any sign that your conversion is real? We can just go on living exactly, as we have always done, showing the world nothing of being set apart unto Yeshua. We look like the world. We act like the world. We eat like the world, and we smell like the world. You flush the commandments of our heavenly Father down the toilet, while you support abortion, the gay lifestyle, eating animals our heavenly Father has declared un-clean, all the while quoting Scripture out of context, or reading things from corrupted Bibles, that have had words added, to support the doctrines of men. The full context of Scripture means nothing to you, as long as you can twist them to satisfy the fleshly desires.

It is a sad thing that many people try to understand the Scriptures from their own intellect. Do we not understand that the words of our heavenly Father are spirit, and the flesh cannot know, or comprehend the things of the spirit? Our Father in heaven has made a way for us to understand His ways, through Ruach haKodesh (the Holy Spirit). However, many, in their pride, believe they can understand these things with their carnal mind. It is like trying to mix oil and water.

How can we know the secrets of the Almighty? First of all repent from all your sins. Come humbly before our heavenly Father, and accept Yeshua as His unique Son, and ask Him to fill you with Ruach haKodesh. Ask Him to make Himself real to you in a fashion that you could never deny. The Ruach will lead you into all truth. Only after the Ruach is dwelling in you, can He reveal the deep secrets that the Almighty has reserved for His children. It is always by His revelation. It can never come by human effort and reasoning. It is the promise of our heavenly Father. Ask, and you shall receive. Humble yourself before our heavenly Father, and He will lift you up. Ask Him to reveal His Son, and He will do it.

Remember

                                                                by Barry W. Gaugler

1Th 5:19 Do not quench the Spirit.
1Th 5:20 Do not despise prophecies,
1Th 5:21 but test everything; hold fast what is good.
1Th 5:22 ABSTAIN FROM EVERY FORM OF EVIL.

Neh 13:17 Then I confronted the nobles of Judah and said to them, "What is this EVIL THING that you are doing, profaning the Sabbath day?
Neh 13:18 Did not your fathers act in this way, and did not our God bring all this DISASTER on us and on this city? Now you are bringing more WRATH on Israel by PROFANING THE SABBATH."

Num 15:32 While the people of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day.
Num 15:33 And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation.
Num 15:34 They put him in custody, because it had not been made clear what should be done to him.
Num 15:35 And the LORD said to Moses, "The man shall be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp."

Rev 16:21 And great hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, fell from heaven on people; and they cursed God for the plague of the hail, because the plague was so severe.

Probably a good idea to not Profane the Sabbath since there is a stoning coming from Heaven.

Isa 58:13 "If you turn back your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight and the holy day of the LORD honorable; if you honor it, not going your own ways, or seeking your own pleasure, or talking idly;
Isa 58:14 then you shall take delight in the LORD, and I will make you ride on the heights of the earth; I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken."

Not All Make it Into the Kingdom of Elohim

                                                                                       by Barry W. Gaugler

It is quite obvious from reading Matthew 7:21- 23, that many who thought they were saved will not make it into the kingdom. It is a sad commentary. They thought they were saved. They thought they were on the right track, but Yeshua's words are clear. Get away from Me, you workers of lawlessness!'" Notice; those who do the will of the Father will enter in. Also notice; The workers of lawlessness will not enter in.

John 14:21 says, "He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. He who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him" Notice where He says, "and keeps them"?

1st Corinthians 7:19 Paul says, "Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing – but keeping God's commandments matters."

There is 1st John 5:2&3, where John says this, "We know that we love God's children by this – when we love God and obey His commandments. For this is the love of God – that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome."

Then there is Revelation 12:17, "So the dragon became enraged at the woman and went off to make war with the rest of her offspring – those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Yeshua."

How about one more? Revelation 14:12 says, "Here is the perseverance of the kedoshim – those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Yeshua." (All verses quoted from the Tree of Life New Covenant.) It can't get any clearer than that. They kept the commandments of God, AND had the testimony of Yeshua.

When I read Luke 1 verses 5 & 6, it says, "In the days of Herod, the King of Judah, there was a kohen (priest) named Zachariah from the priestly division of Abijah. Elizabeth, his wife, was from the daughters of Aaron. Together they were righteous before Adonai, walking without fault in all His commandments and instructions."

Did you catch that? Together they were righteous before Adonai, walking without fault in ALL His commandments. So, who says it is impossible to walk in all the commandments. Those who say you cannot keep the commandments, are speaking contrary to Scripture. We are to walk in the Spirit that we not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. We do not keep the commandments, in order to be saved. We keep the commandments, because we are saved. We can either walk in the Spirit in obedience to God, or we can walk according to the desires the flesh, in disobedience to God. We are living in the very Last Days. It's your choice. It's your eternity.
