Not All Make it Into the Kingdom of Elohim

                                                                                       by Barry W. Gaugler

It is quite obvious from reading Matthew 7:21- 23, that many who thought they were saved will not make it into the kingdom. It is a sad commentary. They thought they were saved. They thought they were on the right track, but Yeshua's words are clear. "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord!' will enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy in Your name, and drive out demons in Your name, and perform many miracles in Your name?' Then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you. Get away from Me, you workers of lawlessness!'" Notice; those who do the will of the Father will enter in. Also notice; The workers of lawlessness will not enter in.

John 14:21 says, "He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. He who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him" Notice where He says, "and keeps them"?

1st Corinthians 7:19 Paul says, "Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing – but keeping God's commandments matters."

There is 1st John 5:2&3, where John says this, "We know that we love God's children by this – when we love God and obey His commandments. For this is the love of God – that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome."

Then there is Revelation 12:17, "So the dragon became enraged at the woman and went off to make war with the rest of her offspring – those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Yeshua."

How about one more? Revelation 14:12 says, "Here is the perseverance of the kedoshim – those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Yeshua." (All verses quoted from the Tree of Life New Covenant.) It can't get any clearer than that. They kept the commandments of God, AND had the testimony of Yeshua.

When I read Luke 1 verses 5 & 6, it says, "In the days of Herod, the King of Judah, there was a kohen (priest) named Zachariah from the priestly division of Abijah. Elizabeth, his wife, was from the daughters of Aaron. Together they were righteous before Adonai, walking without fault in all His commandments and instructions."

Did you catch that? Together they were righteous before Adonai, walking without fault in ALL His commandments. So, who says it is impossible to walk in all the commandments. Those who say you cannot keep the commandments, are speaking contrary to Scripture. We are to walk in the Spirit that we not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. We do not keep the commandments, in order to be saved. We keep the commandments, because we are saved. We can either walk in the Spirit in obedience to God, or we can walk according to the desires the flesh, in disobedience to God. We are living in the very Last Days. It's your choice. It's your eternity.
